Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will support our financial operations, focusing on process improvements, policy establishment, and internal controls. This role is pivotal in managing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end accounting close processes
• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and multi-state sales tax reporting
• Review all internal spending and allocate expenses to the appropriate account
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
• Identify areas for process improvement and champion these changes
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and maintain robust internal controls

Ideal Candidate

• CPA and/or degree in Accounting required
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a financial management role or public accounting
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex financial processes
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
