Simplified Expense Tracking: Receipt Capture & Cost Inbox

Easily track and reconcile expenses with the Receipt Capture & Cost Inbox tools, designed to streamline cost management both in the field and in the office. Snap a photo of your receipt directly from your phone, tablet, or computer and link it to a job, select a vendor, and categorize the expense by cost item or code. This feature allows for splitting costs across multiple cost items or jobs and provides options to add descriptions, tax amounts, and backdates as needed. Expenses are stored as drafts in the Cost Inbox where you can review, edit, and mark receipts as paid, automatically updating job budgets and organizing expenses in real time. Grant access to this feature by adjusting the Expense Logging permission in the JobTread Role Settings.

Group Budget by Custom Fields

Organize budget items by custom fields for a more structured view of your project's financials. With a custom field set as a pick list or text field, items can be grouped and nested under labeled groups for easy reference. For example, grouping by a "Trade" field clusters related items—such as electrical, plumbing, and foundation costs—into clearly defined sections. Use this feature to organize your budget in various ways, like vendor, item category, room/area, order status, or item status, providing an organized and efficient approach to tracking budget details across every phase of your project.

Easier Customer Payments

Paying invoices is even easier for your clients with new payment updates! Now, customers paying an invoice on JobTread (via Stripe) don't need to create a password, removing a common barrier and simplifying their experience. However, they still have the option of creating a password if they would like to save their payment methods for future payment.
If they choose to save a payment method, it is securely stored and specific to each user, displaying only on documents linked to the same customer account they were saved under, ensuring seamless and secure payments every time!

QuickBooks Online 'Pay Now' Button

Streamline your payment process with the QuickBooks Online “Pay Now” button! Your customers can quickly and securely pay their JobTread invoices through QuickBooks Payments, with the option to use ACH Bank Transfer or Credit Card.
To enable this, head to your JobTread Settings to edit your Quick/books Online integration settings, and toggle on “Display Pay Now Button on Invoices.” Once set up, simply create your invoices, choose your preferred payment methods, and send them to your customers. They'll see a convenient “Pay Now” button, redirecting them to QuickBooks for easy payment. Simplify your invoicing today with this seamless integration!

JobTread now integrates directly with EagleView, allowing you to easily order and manage EagleView reports straight from the Job Dashboard. “Exclude from Budget” Setting for Preliminary Documents

By toggling the “Exclude from Budget” setting on Customer Order documents, you can easily can provide rough estimates or gather pre-contract choices while keeping budget items unapproved until a final contract is signed. This helps streamline the process by allowing customers to review and approve preliminary details, without prematurely locking in costs.

On-Demand Schedule Notifications

Simplify team communication about schedule changes! While you're in the Schedule tab on job, customer, or vendor accounts, you can use two notification buttons for real-time updates. The bell icon activates notifications that will send a consolidated message of all changes to assigned team members after you save. The “notify assignees” button lets you instantly notify task assignees, giving you control over who gets updated. Notifications are sent via email or mobile push, depending on each assignee's preferences, making it easier than ever to keep everyone informed!
