Add items to customer orders by pulling them from your budget, creating brand-new cost items, or copying items from your catalog. Once the document is approved, all new cost items will be automatically added to your job budget! Also leverage the new write-in feature on cost items to give customers the ability to update the description, quantity, and files for an item.

Choose whether you would like to display or hide certain features within your organization! Use the Feature Visibility section within General Settings to show or hide the daily logs, tasks and scheduling, and time-tracking features in JobTread. Matching the features to fit your business practices simplifies JobTread for your team members, showing only those that matter to your team!

You can now view, register, and drop into daily office hours to get your questions answered and benefit from help on-the-spot. Visit your help desk, locate your Success Manager’s information on the top-right, then click “Meet with Me.” Register for the office hour you would like to join and then click “Join” when you are ready. Add your questions to the Zoom chat box when you enter and your Success Manager will be ready to assist!

Keep your jobs organized by assigning custom job names and job numbers! It's now time to start planning your naming conventions as you can leverage both letters and numbers in each field for maximum flexibility. Simply enter your custom job names when creating new jobs and edit past job names to match! Once a document is created within a job, the job number is locked in place for safe record keeping.

Simplified invoicing makes accounts receivable a breeze! When creating a new invoice, choose if you'd like to invoice based on specific items, bills & time, or the entire job. View a summary of the total approved amount, amount that has already been invoiced, and the remaining amount. Then simply indicate the percentage or amount to be included in the invoice.

Keep track of all the moving parts of a job by creating checklists within tasks! Whether adding tasks to a job schedule, customer account, vendor account, or to your personal task list, your task items can now include checklists. This is especially helpful when creating basic to-do lists throughout the job and punch lists as you are closing out a job! Simply open the task details drawer to add checklist items under the “Checklist” section.

Job costing just got easier! Keep your books in sync by automatically pulling bills and expenses directly from QuickBooks Online into your job budgets! Update your QBO integration settings in JobTread to take advantage of this update.

Automatically categorize your documents using classes! Head to your QBO integration in the settings panel and enable the Use Classes toggle. You will then be able to assign each job or document a class from your QuickBooks.

You can now add a brief subject to documents to help describe them in a more succinct way than the full document description. This subject is visible to internal and external users, can be displayed on document list views and is searchable.
